The founder of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Kay & Co, Sam has grown a business that is recognised as one of the leading players in the Central London market now as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London Kay & Co | Marler & Marler. At the heart of this growth: honesty, integrity and a remarkable network of contacts. Today Sam heads up the company's international property desk advising private Middle Eastern clients on the sale and acquisition of residential property and investment opportunities. He has been a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents since 1991, is a member of the Association of Residential Lettings Agents and is actively involved with various charitable organisations.
Martin joined his father originally at Kay & Co in 1997 and became Managing Director in 2008. He is responsible for developing global relationships and is responsible for the company's residential investment and development division. His passion for central London living makes him a regularly quoted expert in the national press. He is a former secretary of the central London branch of the National Association of Estate Agents and is a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents. He has responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business, is an active part of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London Kay & Co | Marler & Marler sales team and is responsible for the company's residential development and investment clients.
As a member of an Association of chartered certified accountants (ACCA), Certified accounting technician (CAT) and BSC (Hons) in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University, Shafait brought his impressive skills to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Kay & Co in 2011. His climb from Financial Controller to Finance & Operations director has been swift and highlights the passion and attention to detail he brings to the role. Not only he is the Head of Finance, but he also oversees our Block Management, Lettings, Client Services and Admin teams with HR completing his portfolio of responsibilities. His calm demeanour, ever-present smile and a sparkling sense of humour makes him a popular member of the team and a valued member of the board.
Joe oversees the sales department across all four of our Prime Central London offices in Hyde Park, Kings Cross, Knightsbridge and Marylebone, to ensure a consistent and professional service is provided to all of our clients.
Having previously worked for a large corporate PCL estate agency and also as a specialist broker selling luxury apartments at Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai, Joe brought a wealth of UK and international experience with him when he joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London in 2011. Joe has progressed through our ranks over the years due to his principled and proactive approach to the business.
With an NFoPP Technical Award in the Sale of Residential Property, Joe has been a member of The National Association of Estate Agents since 2014
Katy has been working in Property Management since 2008 and gained her MIRPM and AssocRICS qualification in 2012. Katy joined the team here at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London Kay & Co in 2019 as the new Head of Block Management and was promoted to Head of Operations in 2021. Katy's role is to oversee all aspects of the operations for the company and ensure that all team members are delivering a high level of service to clients.
Matt joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London in 2020 with the responsibility of heading up and leading the Lettings department across its London network of offices. Having previously worked across London as an Associate Director for a well-known estate agency and running one of their flagship offices, Matt brings a wealth of experience and has developed a very strong presence in the area and is a trusted adviser to both domestic and international clients.
Patrick has been involved in property, estate agency and financial services all his business life. He has held senior management positions in some of the most prominent property and financial institutions in both Ireland and the UK. He brings a wealth of experience to the business and has a passion for professionalism and customer satisfaction. He has overall responsibility for the day to day running of our Client Services Department, whose prime objective is to ensure that all our customers experience a top tier service, when dealing with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London.
John’s first role in Property was as an Assistant at a Commercial Property Law firm in 2005. After completing a Law degree in 2010, John moved to Property Management and gained his MIRPM in 2014. He has experience in the management of a wide variety of types of properties and specialises in the management of blocks with complex and dated Leases. John joined Marler & Marler in 2020 and now heads up the Block Management department of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London after they acquired Marler & Marler in 2021. When not focused on Property Management, he retains a keen interest in Technology and how it can be utilised best for the benefit of our clients and staff.
Charlotte joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London in 2014, shortly after graduating University. Her career began in the Client Services department where she excelled in building relationships and she was soon asked to join the Sales team. In 2018 the King's Cross office opened and Charlotte was promoted to the position of Sales and Lettings Manager there. With focus and determination and in only a short space of time, thus we are very pleased to see her progressing further within the company.
Oliver has worked in residential sales for 8 years within the Central London and Hertfordshire market, working on behalf of private clients and property developers. He was part of the team who sold the first property in the UK with the crypto currency, Bitcoin and has sold many properties via virtual reality and video. He has a proactive approach and a proven track record for thinking outside the box when required. In his spare time Oliver enjoys playing football and tennis and updating his social media @oliver.ingles
Charlie has worked in residential sales since 1998, after a brief stint in advertising. Cutting his teeth at John D Wood & Co. in St John’s Wood & Regent’s Park, he then moved to Kensington & Chelsea in 2004, joining boutique firm, Friend & Falcke, where he sold and acquired on behalf of HNW & UHNW individuals, Pension Funds and The Cadogan Estate. He moved to head up the sales team at Marler & Marler in 2010 where he has helped to maintain and build on their large historic client base. He prides himself on his professionalism and personal touch, which has kept his clients loyal over the years. In his spare time Charlie enjoys spending time with his family, walking the dog, running and riding bikes.
Originally from Miami, Florida, Graciela began her career in residential sales as a Licensed Real Estate Agent in New York in 2002. She later moved to the UK in 2005 and in 2006 started working in Residential sales in Islington and the surrounding areas. Graciela enjoys learning and studying the local history of Islington, King’s Cross, and London as a whole. After nearly two decades in the field, she holds a strong sense of market knowledge and valuable negotiating skills. As a global citizen who has lived abroad and has an affinity for international cultures, Graciela is fluent in English and Spanish - serving as a strong attribute to better serve her overseas clientele
Helen moved to Marler & Marler as Lettings Manager in 2003 bringing a wealth of experience and irrepressible enthusiasm for the promotion of the company. She now heads up the lettings department at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London after Marler and Marler was acquired by them in 2021. Previously, she worked at De Groot Collis and Chestertons all within the Knightsbridge/Belgravia area, meaning her client portfolio, built up over the years, remains loyal. She is a member of ARLA (Association of Residential Lettings Agent) while in her spare time, she is a keen cyclist and skier.
Christopher joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London Kay & Co in 2021 as a Lettings Manager. After returning from working overseas in Brazil, Christopher joined the property industry and has worked for the past five years across West London for an established estate agency. Christopher brings a wealth of experience and breadth of knowledge to the Lettings Department at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London Kay & Co, which enables him to guide both tenants and landlords throughout the lettings process. In his spare time Christopher enjoys the architecture and art on offer in Central London.
Sarah has been with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London Kay & Co since the beginning of 2013. Starting in the rentals team, she worked her way up to Lettings Manager in 2016, where she particularly enjoyed advising landlords on property layouts, renovation ideas and ways to maximize their rental income. When Kay & Co joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in 2018, the company required someone with a deep knowledge of the core company values to help assist with this exciting change. It was vital that both existing and prospective clients understood just how beneficial this change would be for them. It was with little surprise that, with her combined prior experience, Sarah became the Marketing Manager to oversee the PR and marketing functions across both print and digital platforms for the company. After two years, and with the transitional period to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Kay & Co complete, Sarah returned to the Lettings team where she continues to assist tenants in finding their new homes.
Mark Greenland is a Chartered Surveyor and Registered valuer and prior to the recent acquisition of Marler & Marler from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London Kay & Co was one of the two equity partners in Marler & Marler. He has an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of residential property in Prime Central London built over many years at Marler & Marler. He also deals with Commercial Rent Reviews, Lease Renewals and Valuations and acts a development consultant. Now a consultant at BHHS London Marler & Marler, he also enjoys squash, winter sports and walking.
Alun Jones is a Chartered Surveyor and Registered valuer and prior to the recent acquisition of Marler & Marler from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London Kay & Co, was one of the two equity partners in Marler & Marler. He has an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of residential property in Prime Central London built over many years at Marler & Marler. Now a consultant at BHHS London Marler & Marler, he also enjoys historic car endurance rallying and trying to keep reasonably fit.
Originally from Styria in Austria, Paul joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London Kay & Co in 2021 as a Senior Lettings Advisor. With previous experience working at an established West London Estate Agent and a BSc honours in Real Estate from the University of Westminster he brings a wealth of experience to guide Landlords and Tenants through the lettings process. Paul is fluent in English and German, allowing him to better serve his European clientele. In his spare time Paul enjoys playing tennis and squash and is a very keen skier.
Lucian joined Berkshire Hathaway London HomeServices Kay & Co when BHHS acquired Marler and Marler (Knightsbridge’s oldest estate agent) in 2021 where he has been since 2014. Lucian has intrinsic knowledge of Chelsea, Kensington and Knightsbridge with over 18 years’ experience at John D Wood and Co and Lane Fox (now Strutt and Parker).
Yulia joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London Kay & Co as a Senior Sales Advisor in October 2021 for the Marylebone Branch. Yulia has 7 years of experience working in Prime Central London in Residential Sales. After winning an award for Best Sales person working for a leading developer in the UK, Yulia comes with a breadth of experience dealing with high net worth individuals; providing excellent service whilst finding people their perfect home. She also speaks fluent Russian and enjoys a nice glass of wine.
Originally from Iran, Sonia grew up in Brazil moving to London when she was 13. As a result she speaks three languages fluently giving her a unique advantage when dealing with international clients. She previously worked in lettings in Chelsea and Kensington for a year and won most deals achieved over two quarters. Her experience in lettings and a family background in property and design has led her to a promising start in her Sales Career; where we are confident she will thrive.
Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Amy studied History of Art at the University of Leeds. She then moved to Miami and the Cayman Islands where she worked in a sales role for an publishing company. After 2 years, Amy decided to return to London and, in 2020, joined the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Kay & Co Lettings team. Her personable approach and dedication to her Lettings role has already led to much success and she has a very promising career ahead
Originally from France, Amelia studied in a commerce school in France. She first started her London career as a sales assistant in Prada. Coming from a family passionate by real estate, she decided to follow her mom's passion and make it her own career. She joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London in September 2021 and shows a great interest and success in her team.
Paula has worked for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London for over 2 years and was promoted to Property Coordinator in 2020. Paula proved that she could manage her portfolio with minimal supervision, which resulted in landing her most recent title. She has also recently passed her IRPM foundation exam and is currently working towards membership status. Paula has experience in the Lettings Team and is also a fully qualified member of The National Association of Estate Agents.
Marcin has been working in Property industry since 2016 having graduated with a Diploma in Real Estate Development from the University of Westminster. He started as a lettings negotiator progressing to a Property Manager Assistant role at a well-established multinational property company and becoming Property Manager soon after. Marcin has experience with new builds as well as prime central London period buildings. His good eye for detail, calm demeanour and positive attitude helps him to solve complex problems often encountered in the property industry. Marcin is an Associate of IRPM and is currently working towards membership status. In his spare time Marcin enjoys independent travel, Italian cuisine, and cinema.
Matthew joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Kay & Co in 2020 as Prime Property Manager but started his career within Property in 2016. During his career, Matt has manged the cycle of multiple high-end property portfolios, consisting of over 130+ properties for three of the top Estate Agencies in London. Matt is commercially aware and has an astute ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, whilst remaining professional and commercially astute. As lead the Lead Property Manager, Matt overseas all projects within the portfolio. Matt is currently working on developing the Property Management team for both London Kay & Co and London Marler & Marler whilst completing his ALRA qualification. During his career, Matt has developed exceptional multi-tasking, scheduling, managing, planning, and organisational skills. Whilst developing his breadth of knowledge within the Property Management sector, maintaining up to date with new legislations whilst developing and building new client and contractor relationships.
Susan joined Marler & Marler in 2017 as Property Manager, having previously worked for a large corporate agent. Originally from South Africa, Susan has made her home in London. Her calm and measured approach when dealing with management problems is appreciated by both landlords and tenants. A people’s person at heart, she enjoys helping others, is a mother and community volunteer, active TRA member and for many years held positions of secretary, while an interim treasurer currently. Her interests include cycling, skating, cooking and gardening out of working hours. She has worked previously for Faron Sutaria, John D Wood, Knight Frank, London Town PLC in Chelsea, Wapping, Canary Wharf and Kensington area, with 15 years experience in the industry to date.
Born and raised in Marylebone, Harry joined the Berkshire Hathaway team in 2020, originally for work experience. Harry’s extensive knowledge of the area and obvious passion for property resulted in him landing a full-time role as a Property Consultant. His main responsibilities include matching our portfolio of properties to our extensive database of buyers, conducting viewings, and maintaining strong client relationships. When he isn’t hard at work, Harry enjoys walks with his dog in Hyde Park and meeting new people.
Raised in West Sussex, Bryony moved to London in 2015 to complete her vocational university degree at Rose Bruford in American Theatre Arts, partially living abroad in America for 5 months while studying. After completing her degree, Bryony gained experience in the high end events sector, media and IT solutions industries and has always shown an interest in marketing before joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London in March 2021. She is exceptionally organised and proved her creativity to become the PA to Directors and Marketing Assistant for all four London offices that generate the Kay & Co and Marler & Marler brand and in summary the London affiliation of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. With Australian/British nationality and family roots in Cornwall, she has a keen interest in culture, the environment and exploring new places.
Lauren graduated from Brighton University, where she received a BSc (hons) in Psychology. As well as regularly volunteering with local charities, Lauren participated in numerous extracurricular activities, such as netball. After moving back home to Essex, she found a great interest in real estate and decided to pursue a career in this profession. In 2019, she joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London Kay & Co as the Office Coordinator at the King’s Cross branch and helps ensure the smooth running of the office.
Janet has been with Marler & Marler since the beginning of 1987, before working here she worked in 1st class hotels in Knightsbridge and Mayfair as a receptionist. Janet is known to be the heart of Marler & Marler and over the years has collected a wealth of knowledge when it comes to clients and their properties. Now joined with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London Kay & Co in 2021 her knowledge and experience will continue to be of a great benefit to the new overall company.
Georgie graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2018 with a BSc hons in Psychology. After leaving Oxford Georgie gained experience in the film and television industry before joining a London based consultancy firm, where she gained valuable insights into client handling and business administration. She has recently joined Berkshire Hathaway to develop a career in real estate and is office coordinator at the Kings Cross branch.
She first took an interest in the industry when an estate agency work experience evolved into her first part time job in administration. She was inspired to study at the University of Portsmouth to marry her academic journey with her enjoyment of the industry. Now graduated in BSc (Hons) (RICS) Property Development in July 2021, she was presented the opportunity to work for BHHS London during her relocation to London in August. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, Italian food and spending time with family.
After leaving King’s College London, she decided to take on the opportunity to join Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London by participating in the apprenticeship scheme to start her professional career. She has always had a keen interest in property as her family is heavily involved in the property field. Joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London has allowed her to learn and be exposed to the provided services that this company offers to clients by gaining knowledgeable experience and learning from colleagues. She is currently working towards completing an IRPM qualification, which she'll achieve at the end of my apprenticeship.
Deborah joined Marler & Marler in July 2019. Prior to joining Marler & Marler, she had a wealth of experience in management, training and development skills on automated systems with various organisations. She is a highly motivated, positive and patient person, with a passion to deliver an exceptional service to our clients. She assists the Financial Controller with the day-to-day accounting for our Lettings and Block Management teams. She enjoys family and spending time with her children as well as cooking and socialising. She loves to help others and regularly takes part in charity events.
Joyce joined in 2000 as a Financial Controller producing Lettings, Block Management and Office Accounts together with payroll and general office duties. Prior to working at Marler & Marler she worked as Financial Controller for IATA in their London office reporting to the Geneva Office. As well as working in finance, she helped implement bespoke accounting programmes for two organisations. In her spare time, she volunteers in the community and helps raise funds for charity.
Molly joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices London Kay & Co in 2018. After a ruff interview process, she was selected to be our Greetings Ambassador for our network of offices. She works hard to spread her time across all branches, though tactically will be close to Hyde Park for lunchtime squirrel chasing. Kindly pop by and she will be happy to welcome and assist you!
